Jefferson Community Park This park is at 7494 Clark State Road and is Jefferson's best-known and most popular park. This 28-acre park has 3 shelter houses, (2 are handicap-accessible) that may be rented on a first-come, first serve basis. The main shelter house, Maple Leaf, has a fireplace and a large grill, and the small shelter house, Trillium, has a grill. In addition to outside picnic areas, Jefferson Community Park contains a fishing pond, playground for younger and older children, a sand volleyball court, a ball field, a horseshoe pitching box, full-service restrooms and a walking path through the woods. Directions: Jefferson Community Park is 1 mile east of Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road on Clark State.

Jefferson Run Park This park is located behind Licking Heights West School, 1490 Climbing Fig Drive, at the corner of Jefferson Run and Climbing Fig Drive. A large shelter house, (handicap-accessible) may be rented on a first-come, first-service bases when school is not in session, June, July and the first three weeks of August. The shelter house has full-service restrooms, a large grill and an attractive playgrounds abut the shelter. The park is not yet developed, but will contain nearly 50 acres and will feature walking paths, tennis courts, soccer and ball fields when it is completed.
Directions: Jefferson Run Park is accessed from Waggoner Road 0.5 mils south of Havens Corners Road or from Waggoner Road Road 1.7 miles north of E. Broad Street.
Swisher Creek Swisher Creek on Clark State Road is directly across from Jefferson Community Park, is as yet undeveloped, but contains a large meadow along with a portion of scenic Swisher Creek a major tributary to Blacklick Creek. Plans to develop this park have not been completed.
Blacklick Ridge Park This 26-acre park lines both sides of Blacklick Ridge Boulevard, just south of the Village of Blacklick.
The park area on the north side features a "tot lot" for small children and walking paths for nature lovers. Those wanting to enjoy scenic Blacklick Creek can access the creek from this park.
Fishing is permitted at the large pond on the south side of Blacklick Ridge Blvd. All State of Ohio fishing regulations apply.

Application Permit For Park Use Download our Shelter House Reservation Application Permit form if you're interested in reserving the Jefferson Community or Jefferson Run parks. However, you must call or e-mail Park Contact Janis Bowling to check on shelter house availability and to proceed with reservations.
Shelter houses are rented on a first-come, first-serve basis, and can be secured no more than one year prior to the rental date. To secure a reservation, an application permit must be completed, the security deposit and rental fee remitted and processed by the Township Office. To qualify for the discounted shelter house rental rate the permit applicant / lessee must be a resident of Jefferson Township.
To ensure that more groups can reserve and enjoy the shelter houses, standard reservation time slots are in effect and are Noon-4PM or 4:30- 8:30PM.
