Shelter House Rates

Jefferson Township has four shelters available for public rental:

• The Maple Leaf located at Jefferson Community Park on Clark State Road is available for rent April 1 through November 31. It features a fireplace, large grill and seating for up to 100 people.
Resident Rate: $100.00
Non-Resident Rate: $140.00

• The Trillium located at Jefferson Community Park on Clark State Road is available for rent April 1 through November 31. It features a grill and seating for up to 24 people.
Resident Rate: $60.00
Non-Resident Rate: $80.00

• The shelter house located at Jefferson Run Park, next to the Licking Heights West elementary school, is available for rent from June 3, 2016 through August 14, 2016. It features a full service restroom, large grill and seating for up to 80 people.
Resident Rate: $80.00
Non-Resident Rate: $120.00

• The shelter house located at Olde Quarry Park will be available for reservations April 1 through November 31. If features a large grill and seating for up to 64 people (however, carpooling is recommended, as parking is limited).
Resident Rate: $80.00
Non-Resident Rate: $120.00

To receive the resident rate, the resident must complete and sign the facility rental permit and payment must come from the resident's account. Some exceptions may apply for non-profit organizations.

Reservation Application

Click to access the 2017 Facility Rental Permit if you are interested in reserving a shelter house at Jefferson Community or Jefferson Run parks. Shelter houses are rented on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be secured no more than one year prior to the rental date. To secure a reservation, a facility rental application must be completed, and the rental fee remitted to and processed by the Township Office. To receive the resident rate, the resident must complete and sign the facility rental permit and payment must come from the resident's account. Some exceptions may apply for non-profit organizations.
Please utilize our Online Reservation System to reserve a date and time.To ensure that more groups can reserve and enjoy the shelter houses, standard reservation time slots are Noon-4:00 p.m. or 4:30-8:30 p.m.
