This January we were excited to be able to donate important personal protective equipment to Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools and Licking Heights Local Schools.
The school districts supporting our local community have been working tirelessly to provide a safe environment for students, teachers, and staff. The federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act provided funding to help support local communities' response to COVID-19. As a result, we asked both local districts how we could help meet immediate needs as they plan for in-person learning.
On January 5, 60 countertop barriers, 20 HEPA air purifiers, and several cases of disinfectant wipes were delivered to Licking Heights Local Schools. Additionally, 10,000 KN95 masks and 10,000 3-ply masks for children were delivered to Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools.
With the recently extended timeline by both the Federal and State governments for the use of CARES Act funding, we look forward to finding more opportunities to support the wellbeing of our community.
