Maintenance
All cemeteries are maintained and serviced by the Jefferson Township Service Department. Maintenance responsibilities include:
- mowing and trimming of turf areas
- tree and building maintenance
- trash removal
- leveling and seeding of burial plots
Services
Two of Jefferson Township's cemeteries, Headley and Jefferson, are currently active for burials. Services include:
- opening and closing services for burials and cremations
- headstone foundation installations
- flag placement on Memorial Day
