The Jefferson Township Board of Trustees, Franklin County, Ohio, will hold a public hearing at the Jefferson Township Fire Station, 6767 Havens Corners Rd, Jefferson Township, Ohio, on December 23, 2019, at 3 p.m. This hearing is to allow for public comment and recommendations on the proposed Jefferson Township-Whitehall Joint Economic Development District Contract to be considered for approval by the Trustees. Copies of the text of the Contract, including the economic development plan for the District in accordance with Section 715.72(F)(3) and the schedule for the provision of new, expanded or additional services, facilities or improvements for the District, a description of the area or areas to be included in the District (including a map)**, and the schedule for the collection of income tax in the District are on file and available for public examination in the office of the Fiscal Officer of the Township.
**The proposed JEDD area will include one (1) parcel, parcel #170-000208, consisting of 12.4 acres on Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road near the intersection with North Street.
The Board of Township Trustees of Jefferson Township, Franklin County, Ohio, is rescheduling the regular meeting from Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at 7 p.m. to Monday, December 23, 2019, at 3 p.m., at the Fire Station, 6767 Havens Corners Road. The purpose of the meeting is for general purposes, which include conducting such business as could or would have been conducted at the originally-scheduled regular meeting.
Jefferson Township administrative offices and the service department will close at 1 p.m. on December 24 and remain closed on December 25. Regular business hours will resume on Thursday, December 26.
